She was lost in the waves of the sea
touching her feet now and then.
I was lost in her, maybe finding her fear,
in the dark valleys of her eyes, so deep.
After a long silence, she asked,
'What are you searching for in my eyes?'
'Maybe the peace for life', I replied.
She died while giving me birth,
He died while saving me from a fall,
All cursed making my heart crushed,
Yet, I stood upright in the midst of all.
Yes, I felt the dryness of my eyes as the sun rose to spread the light
Yes, I felt the stillness of my lips as voidness of darkness engulfed everything
Yes, I felt the voicelessness in my voice as my own angels laughed at my expenses
Yes, I felt the noise of my thoughts as the demons ruled my own mind merciless
Yes, I felt the chills all over as the scars of the past were touched now and then
Yes, I felt the heat burning me as the fortress of ashes started to crumble again
Yes, I felt the need for numbness only to realize it's just worse than the pain.

He died while saving me from a fall,

Yet, I stood upright in the midst of all.
He came to be my knight in shining armor,
My salvation too turned to be my slaughter,
My heart cried but not a tear left my eye,
A living corpse I was, wandering all alone.
Become a victim myself while saving an unknown.
Was waiting for the dark to consume me for all,
And finally, I was drowning in the memories of life
Darkness clouding the eyes, heart getting to rest
Maybe love for me was a far-fetched dream
A voice fell my ear as every pain subsided
Real love is waiting for you, my child,
Come.
